I sculpted and painted this guy in Zbrush, then Rendered out passes to be composited in Photoshop for the final images. He was my first project in Zbrush.. Kind of reminds me of the Mars Attacks alien.. Maybe Mars Attacks 2013??

Title Animation
So this a little video I made for my friend's band. Not an official promo piece (yet), but none the less, I wanted to post it because it's basically my first rendered animation. Every thing textured, lit, and animated in Maya.

Haunted House Textured & Lit
This has been a really fun project! Building a haunted house is something I've wanted to model for quite some time and figured I'd use my winter break to work on it. I had lunch at Dreamworks Animation a couple weeks ago with one of their lead animators. He really inspired me to push to become a specialist with 3D. Working for Dreamworks is my goal, and I'll do whatever it takes to make that happen!

Haunted House model
Built this haunted house in Maya during winter break. I had a lot of fun working on it, it's always nice to step back and create something purely for fun with no deadlines. I included more renders than usual with this one.. It really looks great from every angle.. I included a couple wire frame screen shots from within Maya also.

Alien Crash Site
Here's my final project for advanced 3D modeling. The assignment was to make an organic environment, and I decided to add the crashed alien ship. The trees in the background are simply image planes with .png images applied to save on geometry. All of the trees are textured using custom made shaders with displacement and bump maps applied. Rendered using Image Based Lighting, and touched up a bit in photoshop.

Dragons Lair ThemePark Attraction
The assignment was to create an original theme park attraction. The roller coaster is all one solid continuous track, and came before the rest of the attraction. Everything except the people and flames modeled, textured and lit in Maya. Overall, a really fun and involved project!

Alien Battle Crab ALL DONE!!
Whew! Man I've wanted to make this guy for quite a while. I always get bummed out when I finish a model, so to hang on to the project for a bit longer, I decided to put him into a scene. This is the rated R version, there's another with no body parts or blood, but that's no fun :) The bloody limbs were my excuse to put some gore into the scene while referencing human scale. I'm still rendering another straight on close-up shot of his face with some depth of field. Still having trouble letting this project just be finished haha.
